If you uninstall the Intel® C++ Compiler from your system, it is no longer available in Visual Studio* to open Intel® C++ Projects, and an error similar to the following results:
If you want to uninstall the Intel® C++ Compiler from your system and continue to use your project sources as Visual C++* Project, convert each project to use the Visual C++* Project System. See Converting Projects from the Command Line
Caution
Using File > Save As > .vcproj file does not convert your Intel® C++ Project to a Visual C++* Project.
