User and Reference Guide for the Intel® C++ Compiler 14.0
On OS X*, the Intel® C++ Compiler can compile C/C++ source code using the clang compiler header files and libraries by using a compiler option. Clang is a part of the LLVM project to create a new compiler front-end that supports the C, C++, Objective C, and Objective C++ languages. For more information about clang and the LLVM project, see clang: a C language family frontend at http://clang.llvm.org.
To use this environment, specify the -use-clang-env option when you compile your code. To use the gcc environment, specify the -no-use-clang-env option. If you specify the -use-clang-env option, you can also select a particular C++ standard library to use by specifying the -stdlib=keyword option with either ibstdc++ for the GNU C++ library or libc++ for C++ library.
