Description

This option compiles and links for function profiling with gprof(1).

When you specify this option, inlining is disabled. However, you can override this by specifying pragma forceinline, declspec forceinline (Windows* OS), attribute always_inline (Linux* OS and OS X*), or a compiler option such as [Q]inline-forceinline.
