User and Reference Guide for the Intel® C++ Compiler 14.0
The following applies to
C++
for Microsoft Visual Studio* 2010 and 2008.
The Performance Guide is an interactive tool that provides suggestions for introducing performance improvements in your C++ application.
In order to use the Performance Guide, you need to have Intel® VTune Amplifier installed on your system.
To start the Performance Guide, do the following:
Start Visual Studio* and open your C++ solution.
Choose Tools > Intel Composer XE 2013 > Start Performance Guide.
Alternatively, you can right-click on your solution in the Solution Explorer view, then choose Intel Composer XE 2013 > Start Performance Guide.
