User and Reference Guide for the Intel® Fortran Compiler 14.0
The Intel® Fortran Compiler provides a command-line window with the appropriate environment variables already set for Intel® Fortran program development.
From the Start menu, select All Programs > Intel Parallel Studio XE 2013 > Command Prompt > Parallel Studio XE with Intel Compiler XE and select one of the available modes. Depending on your installation, there may be one or more choices for the mode. (For example, one choice might be IA-32 Visual Studio 2010 mode.) Once you make your selection, the command-line window opens.
The window provides a similar working environment to that provided by running a version of MS-DOS*. You can use any command recognized by MS-DOS in the command-line window, plus some additional commands.
Because the command-line window runs within the context of Windows* OS, you can easily switch between the command-line window and other applications for Windows or have multiple instances of a command console open simultaneously.
When you are finished working in a command-line window, use the EXIT command to close the window and end the session.
