Controlling the Number of Images

In this step, you will control the number of images created for a coarray Fortran application.

  1. Select Project > Properties. The project property pages dialog box appears.

  2. In the project property pages dialog box, select Configuration Properties > Fortran > Language > Coarray Images and type 2 in the list box. Click OK to close the property pages dialog box.

  3. Select Build > Rebuild Solution to remove any existing files created from the last build and compile the source code into an application.

  4. Select Debug > Start Without Debugging to run the application.

Your output should be similar to this:

Hello from image 2 out of 2 total images
Hello from image 1 out of 2 total images

This step is the last step in the tutorial.
